Revisiting my old TEDx Talk from Aug 2014 - REPOST ::: The speaker highlights the idea of bringing the #arts #journalism in the mainstream #media and its importance in current times. It has specially become important in the developing world to spread out such a journalism so as to make it inclusive and diverse. The difference between an arts-critique and arts-journalism is one of the emphasis which comes out from her talk. She also shares some of her projects and initiatives in this direction. Sahar Zaman is an independent political newscaster, arts journalist and cultural curator. She has launched Asia's first web channel on art, food and travel called Hunar TV. She also heads a design brand called Chamak Patti.
